The WAZUG NL (the We ❤ AZure User Group NL) is the Dutch Azure user group. Here’s a fun fact: the name used to stand for “Windows AZure User Group”. Because Microsoft renamed Windows Azure to be Microsoft Azure, they had to get creative with the meaning of their abbreviation. I think they did a good job on that one 😉
The user group was started in 2010 by a group of Azure Enthusiasts to inform developers, architects and consultants on Microsoft’s cloud platform. At the end of 2011 the foundation WAZUG NL was started to formalize things. They organize events every two months, varying from technical sessions to reference cases.
